FluidPro prides itself on its family atmosphere, and this mindset extends to their local community, as well.

The company chooses to support local events and organizations because it’s where they live, and those donations go a long way to put much-needed dollars back into the community. FluidPRO regularly supports STARS, Ronald McDonald House, the Grande Prairie Stompede, the QEII Foundation, kids’ minor hockey and the Sunrise House, just to name a few.

“A lot of these organizations involve children,” added Wendy Vig, senior management with with the company. “Most of us have kids, and at any point it could be one of our kids in these situations and we want to support our families.”

NorthWestern Polytechnic Driver Training Program donation

FluidPRO also believes in giving back to their industry, and donated a truck and trailer to Grande Prairie College for their driver training program. “Some of those students may one day come back to work for us, so we’re investing in their education,” explained Wendy. FluidPRO believes that quality education and training are crucial to the development of the next generation of drivers. The company also hires local apprentices looking to break into the industry.
